Mandie loves the beach. Ali loves Mandie. This was the perfect combination for a beautiful wedding in Cannon Beach.

It was small, personal, and delightful.

Their little ring bearer.

She got him good.

There was a lot of dancing and a lot of love.

Typical of the Oregon coast, it decided to pour as we were outside taking pictures. But we still had a blast!

Dan and Andrea’s Engagement Photos

We recently traveled down to Las Cruces New Mexico to shoot some engagement photos for Dan and Andrea. They showed us around and we used the city’s best backdrops for our full day of photography. The rich history of this place was a pleasant accompaniment and welcome addition to the day. Congratulations to Dan and Andrea, we’re so happy for them.

Bridals with Alexis Young

A year after we were married my wife, Alexis wanted to recreate some of the aspects of our wedding so she could have some bridal photos. We had an excellent photographer at our wedding but the day went by so fast she forgot to ask for pictures with her bouquet. We decided to just make a day of it and do some proper bridal photos. So Alexis got her dress cleaned, bought a new bouquet, and got her hair styled. Then we set out around Portland and these are the result of an afternoon of photography.

Exciting Engagements

Joey and Nicole wanted to take nighttime engagement photos, mainly because their work schedule didn’t allow time for daytime pictures. While walking around the Vista Bridge we were caught in the middle of a suicide. Police pulled a would be jumper off the ledge of the bridge and even thought the initial police report was about us as they responded to the scene. Joey and Nicole decided this couldn’t dampen their evening so we figured we might as well shoot some photos in the impromptu environment.
